Marco A. Flores, CPA
Marco founded MFCPA, P.C. in 2014 to give San Antonio families and small-business owners a CPA they can actually reach.

Background
Marco earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Before founding the firm, he built the experience that now shapes how the practice runs — a preference for direct answers, quick turnaround, and explaining the reasoning rather than just delivering a number.
How he works
The approach is straightforward: do careful, accurate work, communicate quickly, and translate complicated tax matters into decisions clients can understand. Documents move through a secure portal rather than email, and questions get answered through secure chat, so nothing important lives in an inbox.
Clients most often mention responsiveness — answers in hours rather than weeks — and the fact that explanations make sense without a background in accounting. That is deliberate. A client who understands the reasoning makes better decisions the following year.
Who the practice serves
The firm works with San Antonio small businesses across tax preparation and planning, accounting and payroll, and advisory engagements. It also handles a steady volume of situations that general-purpose software tends to mishandle — military families around JBSA, people newly arrived in Texas with multi-state returns, and rental property owners.
